When patients were searching for urgent care, we wanted to be sure that WellStreet was prominent and competitive.
Because of WellStreet’s success with digital marketing, they asked Full Media to design an updated website that would integrate wait times and patient scheduling with their EMR system: Epic. They also needed to consider an infrastructure for their new partnership with Beaumont Health System.
We knew that proximity and wait times were critical considerations for patients that research urgent care options near them, so we developed a custom application that pulls wait times from Piedmont’s API and enables online check-in through Epic.
We also knew that mobile experience and site speed were crucial for healthcare, but especially for urgent care where many patients are looking for care on the go. Forty percent of people will leave a website that takes longer than 3 seconds to load, so we made sure to balance custom functionality with super fast page load times.
